A THOUGHT FOR TODAY - ENJOY THE JOURNEY, AS THE ARRIVAL MIGHT BE UNCERTAIN!

So, consider this:

We are always leaving to undertake journeys, short and long, not knowing for certain if we will arrive at our given or hoped for destination, but hoping that we will indeed arrive.

Our journeys can sometimes be actual journeys we make along a geographic path, were we are exposed to dangers as well as pleasant experiences as we move along the terrains, valleys and scenery we encounter along the way.

Or, our journeys might be mental journeys we travel in our minds, as we contemplate and aspire to achieve this or that objective. Probably to get a good job and money.

Probably to be able to buy the car and/or house of our dreams. Probably to get a good partner, or to be able to escape the oppressive physical conditions with which we are burdened.

Or simple 'to get better, to be well again', as we struggle this or than physical and/or mental illness. Or it might be 'to be saved and inherit eternal life.'

And yet, in as much as one must make some sacrifices, endure some hardships in our endeavours to achieve our goals, to reach our destination.  We have no certainty of arriving, or knowing if it will be as we expected it to be.

We should therefore never omit to ensure that the journeys we undertake, bring us some pleasure, some happiness and satisfaction.

Because, life is more of a journey than a destination, with the final destination being the obliteration of our ergo sumness; our conscious state of being, and, consequently, our opportunity to achieve anymore satisfaction from the world, the universe to which we return, as dust.

Enjoy your life as best you can, by ensuring that, where your are able to, your journeys are of your choosing.
