BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIX - VETTEL VICTORIOUS, AND HAMILTON REDEEMED HIMSELF!

A Massive Congratulation to Sebastian Vettel for having won the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Having led it pretty much from start to finish, having taken the lead from the Pole starter, Valtteri Bottas at the first bend!

It has been long in coming, Seb, but you have finally made it, even though not soon enough to delay Lewis Hamilton from having won the 2017 Drivers' Championship.

But still, I win is a win, and makes the Winner's day. Your day, Sebastian, with a win you earned.

Big Congratulation to Valtteri Bottas, also, for not allowing himself to be further demoted.

After he was overtaken by Vettel, and coming in at P.2, and to Kimi Raikonnen, for, again, fighting off Lewis Hamilton to hold on to P.3.

As he was during Q3, by still making himself the big talk of the Session, although for the wrong reason, by spectacularly crashing out at the beginning of Q1.

The indubitable Hamilton, notwithstanding not being able to promote himself  - of course, with the support of Team Mercedes - above P4.

Gave an added dimension or edge to the race, by simply going racing.

Starting from the Pit Lane, by the end of the race, the predatorial Hamilton would hunt down and overtake no less than at least 16 competitors.

Doing so in an entertaining manner, though not without some risk of collision. A feat which the fans appreciated and enjoyed, leading to them voting him the 'Driver of the Race.'

So, Lewis, A big Congratulation to you, also, for driving with the panache, verve and Zonal integrity which has won you the 2017 Formula One Drivers' World Championship.

It was a driving display which was worthy of Podiumisation, but it was not to be. Not for this Grand Prix.

The gods would not allow it. It was to be somebody else's turn. Vettel's, Bottas' and Raikonnen.

A Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Team Ferrari, without whom none of the Podiumites could or would have made it to their respective positions.

Not Verstappen's or Ricciardo's either.

But there is still the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2 weeks time, which will present you, Lewis, with your third and final opportunity to win a Grand Prix after you have won the Drivers' World Championship.

It should be yours, providing you and Team Mercedes perform all the basic and numerous tasks required of you.

Not only on the race day, but during the practice sessions, during the qualifying sessions, and, yes, during the race. It can be done.

You have done it before, on numerous occasions. And you will, if you and Team Mercedes work as one and flawlessly synchronise yourself with the vibrations of the ADGP circuit.

However, as we await the final Grand Prix of the 2017 Formula 1 Season, which, hopefully, will be 'a thrilla in Abu Dhabi.'

Now is an opportune time to say, Obrigado, thank you, Felipe Massa, for all your contribution to Formula 1 racing, and excitement you have brought to it and the fans.

May your new career prove as satisfying and enjoyable as your Formula One career has been.

There is a lot more things to do than racing, and, with a man with your courage, we should be hearing a lot of good things about your new life and vocation. Sair e fazer acontecer!  Go forth and make it happen!
