So, there are and will continue to be times when we think, what is the point of carrying on with this life which is encountering so much pain?
When we think, should we carry on along this journey which seems to be enclosing us, against our will and best endeavour, into the dark and cold embrace of the Winter of Foreboding?
With all of its fearful associations, when what we earnestly desire, is that Summer should be prolonged and keep us in her pleasant embrace?
Where we can think and say, life is great, and we want to continue to live!
But now, in our times of sorrow, of fear of the unhappiness which the future might bring. We are, even against our best endeavour, minded to think.
Even to express our deepest thought, of whether or not is is at all worthwhile, that we should continue the journey of life.
Though it might still appear that it is not quite yet our time disembarked from the train.
We are aware that we have had other times, in the past, when we have been confronted with similar psychologically critical moments. And that we have 'gotten through them.'
And yet, we still may find that, each time these times occur, we seem to be no better at dealing with them.
At avoiding the pain which they generate in us. So, we continue to explore the option of, probably prematurely, if this is really probably, of jumping off the train of life.
Whether or not it could be said to be the intended fate for us fulfilling our destiny!
So, on a positive note. There is nothing illegitimate, irrational or unusual in us humans, at various times in our journey of life.
Contemplating on whether to resolve a living-crisis by jumping off the train, as the ultimate way of ending our pain.
However, we should always endeavour to find other ways of 'managing the pain', and giving ourselves time to recover from its cause/s.
This we can do, by, even if temporarily, changing our perceptions of the people and things around us; of how we relate to our environment and allows it to impact upon us.
Have a review of your relationship with the people and environment within which you are living.
And, if you are feeling acute emotional and psychological pain about any aspects of it.
Do identify and explore what small changes you can make in how they are impacting on you, and you on them, and make them.
Once you have succeeded in making the smaller changes, you should acquire more control to make bigger ones, which should help to float you out of the feelings of despair.
