A person is a reflection of their culture, of what they believe and how they live their lives. A bridge between the past and the future, between time and space and needs to try to keep them in harmony, less they become unbalanced. Not to be aware of the past and give it due consideration in the building of the future can distort the future. Neither is it wise to sacrifice your future because you choose to live in or as if you are in the past. One World One Human Race One Destiny (OWOHROD)

JUST A THOUGHT - ON SAYING GOOD BYE TO U.V. AND CONTEMPLATING OUR FINAL APPOINTMENT WITH FATE. PART 1.
Blessed are those of us who, as we look back on our lives, or time of conscious living on the Earth, are able to say.
As we approach being pushed off into the abyss of Oblivion, I am reasonably satisfied with the life I have lived.
And with the contribution I have made towards helping those whose time have not yet arrived, to have as good or better a journey, than I have had.
And so it was that, as I looked at the flowers bedecked casket of the man lying in it, whose journey has taken him 83 years.
And looked at the 4 page programme forming a part of the commemoration of his life, I focused my thoughts on the two pictures of him on the first page.
The top picture was of a handsome and contemplative young man, probably aged 19 or 20 years old, if that.
It was the kind of 'classical and iconic' photos of men and women, taken in the 1950s and 1960s, we sometimes come across.
This kind which causes you to wonder or ponder what the person might be thinking of, at the time when the photo was taken.
While this photo tends remind those of us who were of a certain age in the 1950s and 1960s of that period, the bottom photo tells of a different time, and of even more stories.
It was a picture of the same man, but of how he was, after having travelled over 50 years since the first picture was taken.
This picture, which reminds me of that legendary musician, B B King, was, understandable, not easily reconcilable with that at the top of the page.
This young man was now, in comparison, a very old man. A man who has lost the physical good looks and charm of the young man at the top of the page.
He was now a man on whom time and the natural and adverse experiences of ageing and life, have demanded and extracted a high cost, which he had to pay.
To be continued!
