UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX - POLE-MASTERS, TEAM MERCEDES AND HAMILTON PIPPED VETTEL AND FERRARI! THE END..

But all this does, is to increase the anticipation and uncertainties about how the actual race will transpire or be played out, today, Sunday.

Especially as Hamilton found himself in the troubling situation of having to do an additional lap on his race tires, in Q.2, having already compromised his tired with an untidy lap.

All of which could suggest that all 3 top teams, Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull, and their respective drivers, racers, have everything or nearly everything to race for in Sunday's Grand Prix.

Even though the Austin Circuit, in light of the number of Formula 1 races Hamilton has won on it, could, with some justification, be called ' The Hamilton Circuit.'

For now, however, A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton, for having carved or conjured up Pole position out of Q.3.

Also a Very Big Congratulation to Team Ferrari and Vettel and Raikonnen, for upping their performance and making it to P.2 and P.3 on the Podium.

Which is very commendable, considering the additional pressures which have been placed on Vettel, by his very unfortunate 3 place grid penalty.

But for now, let us await what fate has in store for the warriors and their teams, who will be doing battle in the United States Grand Prix.

To see how their experience, their skills, and their deployment of appropriate races strategies and tactics.

Will combine with their success in synchronising with the energies of the Austin Circuit, to place them, as they greet the Checkered Flag at the end of the race.

Team Mercedes and Hamilton have, indeed, made it 4 Poles and the most wins at the AC, to date. However, in terms of them making it to Hamilton's Fifth World Championship today, is not a done and dusted achievement.

In the unlikely event of all things being equal, we could yet be in for a very special and, hopefully, particularly thrilling USGP race.

Probably even more competitive than Qualifying. Bring it on, guys and teams!
