BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIX - TEAM MERCEDES AND HAMIILTON TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE IT A DOUBLE WIN!! THE END...

So, A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton, for having achieved probably more than they had anticipated, but as much as they could have hoped for, from the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix.

A Very Big Congratulation to Team Red Bull and Max Verstappen, for having made it to P. 2, even though P.1 was there for the taking.

If only Verstappen had continued to drive on the highway of the wind, and not throw caution to it.

If only he had been more prudent, and not considered himself to be impregnable to the pitfalls which fate sometimes sprinkles into the path of those who proceed without due care and attention.

A Very Big Congratulation to Team Ferrari and Kimi Raikkonen, for having somewhat redeemed themselves, by taking P.3, following the relatively fading away of the hoped for, but unrealised challenge from the struggling but much respected Sebastian Vettel.

Even without the much predicted and, for some teams and racers, hoped for rain. The 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix, it seems to me, did not fail to deliver much of the excitement and pleasurable event for which it has become known.

We were presented with an exciting and adrenaline filled, but controlled start.

Which saw Hamilton and Bottas safely holding the pursuing pack behind them, in a fiercely contested competition for the first to reach the first turn.

Unfortunately for him, Valtteri did not have the car which he needed to atleast maintained his P.3 Qualifying position. But then, neither did Vettel.

At the same time, it was also a race which was devoid of any spectacular crashes which warranted the intervention of the VSC  Safety Car.

And we were also treated to the phenomenal racing dominance, on this occasion, of Max Verstappen and Team Red Bull.

So much so, that it was clear, or seemed clear that not even the usual racing excellence of Hamilton and Team Mercedes, could catch or match Max's pace.

Which, had it not been for Max's strategy inexperience, would most probably have delivered him the win he and his team had been expecting.

And now, we await the final act in the 2018 Formula 1 Grand Prix season, to be played out at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Bring it on, guys and teams!!!
