'Probably the most altruistic thing the 'Friends of Syria' can do for that country and its people. Is to stop being an avoidable and detrimental impediment to them regaining their peace, and rebuilding their country and lives.'
It is finally coming to an end; the bloody conflict in Syria. Between the government of Syria, its armed forces, and those Syrians who support it. And the jihadists, rebels and Islamis and their foreign supporters, and the forces of ISIS.
There are still formidable obstacles still be be overcome, however. Including that of the Syrian government reunifying the country and reestablish its sovereignty over all of its territory.
The ending of the continuing occupation of parts of Syria by American, French and British forces, and their armed and paid for Syrian mercenaries.
There is also the issue of Turkish forces occupying Afrin.
The Americans, British and French are not in Syria because of their feelings of altruism towards those Syrians who 'years for freedom, liberty and equality.'
No way; altruism is not a feature of the American, British and French foreign policy, at least, if it ever was, it is no more.
The French, British and Americans are in Syria because of how they and others have manipulated the internal instabilities which the country suffered in 2011.
To be continued!
