T.: But does it have to be so, L.G? Do us humans really have to contend with continuous misery in our lives? Is that really what it is all about?
L.G.: Well, yes, and no, T. It is certainly not all about enduring misery in your life-time.
At least, not for all humans. But the pain of misery is a substantial part of it. The amount of pain and pleasure humans experience in their lives, will also be a function of their perceptions.
Of what their expectations are, what they perceive as being desirable and undesirable.
What they train their minds and condition themselves into being of value and not having any or sufficient value.
T.: Do you mean, L.G., that their is no intrinsic value to human lives; that there is no, no divine, no god-made purpose for human existence?
L.G.: Yes, that is what I mean, T. None at all. I have no master plan or purpose for humans. I am not asking anything of them; of you, T.
Neither in this life, or in the next life of which the believers speak. In the end, T. The lives of humans are, as you say, pretty much what is the life of many, if not most other living creatures.
T.: Hold on, wait a minute, L.G. Are you saying their is no difference, no qualitative difference between us humans, and, say, the birds, the cows, fish, flies?
L.G.: Pretty much, T. Have you ever seen a cow being killed, T, or a goat, or pig?
Have you ever seen how a living, breathing, animated and full of live creature or animal is transformed into a very dead and lifeless?
T.: Well, yes, I have, L.G. I have.
