And it was a race that saw Hamilton and Vettel engaging in a fierce and persistent fight, as Hamilton pursued his eventually successful attempts to overtake Vettel.
Which say Vettel having a car spin and, shortly after, his car semi-destructing.
None of which prevented him from still coming in at P.5, behind Verstappen and the unfortunate Leclerc, who made it to P.3.
Thanks to fate intervening, again, with the race ending behind the Safety Car, after both of Renault's cars loss power and had to be removed from the track perimeter. Making it Ricciardo's second DNF in the 2019 season.
So, with a win being a win and a lose being a loss. A Very Big congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, for making it a P.1 and P.2.
And a Very Big Commiseration and Congratulation to Charles Leclerc and Team Ferrari, for having lost the race and making it to P.3.
As we now look forward to what the China Grand Prix has in store for the respective teams and their racers and cars, we can also be thankful to the Bahrain GP for having delivered on the Circuit.
We should also do what we can, to pressure the government of Bahrain to relieve its oppression of sections, such as Shiite Bahrainis, of the countriy's population.
