AN ENIGMATIC AND POIGNANT JOURNEY AROUND MY AGEING AND EVOLVING MOTHER! PART 101.

But, while my dear mother awaits her time, however impatiently at times, the life within her body, within her mind, still remains substantial and vigorous.

She still has her motility and her mobility, even though they are a far cry from what they once were, and demand that she does things and move about slower and more carefully.

That she learns to do all or some of the chores she once could do quickly and even automatically, more slowly and consciously now.

That she adjust and coordinate her mind with the now slower reaction of her body, of her limbs.

Which is why my dear mother has recently sustained another fall. And was, for a period of time, totally dependent on her carer and a member of staff at her village, to work brilliantly to get her back to her feet.

Before the paramedics could be called to examine her and dress any injury she had.

Fortunately, my dear mother did not sustained any major injuries from her fall, which could be seen as a testimony of her resilient character; both in body and mind, as it were.

Although her mind, her ability to see and analyses things objectively and reasonably, still remains impaired.

To be continued!
